Prof. Dr. Winnie Chee Siew Swee is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) and Professor of Nutrition & Dietetics at the International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia. A pioneer in the Malaysian dietetics field, she served as Secretary in the first Council of the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association (MDA) and is currently the Vice President for the 2023–2025 term. From 2020 to 2023, she represented dietitians on the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council, contributing to national policy and regulatory development. Her academic and clinical work focuses on nutrition in chronic diseases such as diabetes, obesity, kidney disease, and bone health, and she remains actively involved in public health nutrition advocacy, research, and postgraduate supervision.
