Dr Nor 'Izzati Binti Saedon
Lecturer

Dr Nor Izzati Saedon joins University Malaysa since her early career as Medical Officer in the Department of Internal Medicine. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Geriatric Unit at University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC). Dr Izzati received her MBBS in Medicine from Universiti Malaya in 2006, and complete her training specialised in Internal Master and Subspecialised in Geriatric from the University Malaya.

Dr Izzati interest include cardiology in older adults. She has been presenting multiple research on blood pressure changes and fall in the older adult. She is currently completing her PHD on Cerebrovascular changes in Older Adult. Focusing on the complication of orthostatic hypertension in older adults leading to falling.

Dr Nina Mazera Binti Mohd Said

Abbott Nutrition Malaysia

Dr Nina is the Medical Director of Abbott Nutrition Malaysia where she is responsible for scientific advocacy, engagement with healthcare professionals and providing technical support to the business.   She attained her medical degree at the University College of Dublin, Ireland. Following which she has practiced mainly in obstetrics and gynaecology in the NHS hospitals in the United Kingdom and in Hospital Selayang under the Ministry of Health Malaysia.  She has more than 20 years of working experience in the clinical services and pharmaceutical industry.  

Dr. Nina joins Abbott from GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) where she served as Medical Director for Vaccines leading a team of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Medical Scientific Liaisons (MSL).  In her role she oversees multiple functions including medical affairs, clinical operations, pharmacovigilance, medical governance and government affairs.   She had collaborated with the Ministry of Health Malaysia and Brunei in the vaccine training program for the implementation of the national HPV immunization program for 13-year old school girls in 2010 and during the Influenza prepandemic preparedness vaccination program.  She has also presented in many national medical conferences and meetings.
