It is my distinct pleasure and great honour to welcome you to the website of the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association (MDA). This website will be developed in stages. When it is ready, we hope it will serve to provide you with valuable knowledge in Nutrition and Dietetics.

Malaysian Dietitians’ Association is a member organization of the Asian Federation of Dietetic Association (AFDA) and the International Confederation of Dietetic Associations (ICDA).

The MDA was registered in the year 1994 and had less than 40 members then. Currently, it has increased to a membership of 350 members who are Dietitians.

MDA members contribute their services in various fields which require their expertise, ranging from clinical dietetics in hospitals/ medical centres, dietary counseling services, food & food services in hospitals and hotels, product & service consultations, public and community health promotions, education & training, research, and such.

This website aims to serve both the community and the professionals. With your support we hope to continue to grow and to be able to provide you with a site that brings to you information that is relevant to the field of nutrition, dietetics and healthcare.
